Look at what a difference rescue makes!

Barbossa came to us from a local farm last winter that was overwhelmed with cats. On the day of our visit, we took in five cats, all suffering from severe upper respiratory infections, with Barbossa in the worst condition. Our vet team examined them immediately and started them on antibiotics and antiviral medications. The 3-3-3 Rule

When bringing your new cat or dog home, please be patient when letting them adjust to their new home and family. There is a general rule or guideline of 3-3-3:

  • 3 days to decompress

  • 3 weeks to adjust to YOUR routine

  • 3 months (or longer) for them to feel completely comfortable and “at home.”

Kingsley and His Happily Ever After

Kingsley was originally found as a stray and brought to the local impound. He had a broken pelvis and could not use his back legs properly. We took him into our care and knew that it wouldn't be easy or cheap to help him... But sometimes, we just need to take the leap and trust we will be able to raise the funds needed to help animals in need, like this handsome young man.
