Thanks to your unwavering support, Angel of Hope Animal Rescue continues to grow, bringing hope and a second chance to the over 1,700 pets we care for each year.
Your kindness inspires us as we reflect on the difference you've made for pets in need in our community. In the words of our Executive Director, Laura Uecker:
“Since 2013, Angel of Hope has grown beyond expectations! In 2024 alone, we placed over 1,700 pets into loving forever homes. Every day, we work with overcrowded shelters, animal impounds, and owners who need help finding a safe place for their pets. Our mission ensures each pet receives proper veterinary care so they’re ready for their new homes.

Suspected of having hydrocephalus, Delta needed help beyond what the shelter could provide, so the woman posted her on Facebook, hoping a rescue would step in.

Read MoreDo you like to drive!? Angel of Hope could really use the help of a few volunteers to drive our furry friends to our adoption sites. We currently partner with 5 PetSmart’s, 3 Petco’s, 7 Chuck and Don’s, and 2 Pet Supplies Plus locations that help find forever homes for the cats in our care. What this means, is that we need people who like driving to help us transport cats to and from these locations.

In this volunteer roll, you help by reviewing adoption applications, setting up meet and greets with the applicants, going over the animals medical background, and sending the cats home to their new forever homes!

3 days to decompress
3 weeks to adjust to YOUR routine
3 months (or longer) for them to feel completely comfortable and “at home.”
